Give the option for a payment - such as a credit card payment to be tied to multiple expenses to better account for paid "lending" eg I spend 750 on my credit card - insurance renewal, concert tickets, groceries- I make a payment on my cc for $200 to pay the ticket transaction - eliminating it as a "double expense- $200 cc payment" or show expenses sans cc payments if cards are tied.
