Option to automatically save scanned receipt(s) directly to device

Please add an option to automatically save each scanned receipt directly to the photo album or camera roll.

This lets users skip the exporting step, allowing them to manage/organize the saved receipt images on their phone.

Example feature flow: Scan a receipt > Save the expense > Scanned receipt image is automatically saved to device > Continue scanning or adjusting expense details.

Thank you Hung & Eli, if it helps, I’m using Mac & iOS. Quicken unfortunately is sadly lacking in the adding/scanning of receipts into the desktop version. (I’ve used them since they were on a 5 1/4” floppy but you’re too young for that lol) I find yours much better in some regards especially scanning (my $600 scanner rips receipts) and great for employees to submit expenses. Thx again. I’ll watch for updates

I think it might still be a good idea to have it download the image to the phone one by one because I’m going through adding receipts from multiple years so there’s a good chance I’m going to miss them if I just export it one year at a time or one. At a time either that or I’m gonna end up with multiple duplicates

I’m looking to save every receipt that I scanned as an image because I upload my images to Quicken and as this is the best receipt scanner that I have found I use this. I also use it to group expenses together but it’s very time consuming to export everything, save the photos and then import into Quicken so an option to save every image to the camera roll would be great … many apps have this feature.

Thank you so much for the quick response

I did look for an option to do this and didn’t find it in settings but I’m going to try the advanced setting export option and see if that makes it any quicker

We will also look into making a quicken integration so you don’t have to do any extra steps at all :)

Hi, can you please clarify more about your request? For example, would you prefer an option that automatically saves each receipt image when you save an expense? Or would you want to handle it on a case-by-case basis? Or are you referring to directly saving a date range of receipts to your device?

Although it's not the same as saving directly to your photo album, we currently have ways to export receipt images:

1.) To export receipt images in the app, tap the gear icon (top-left) > Export > Advanced Options > Enable "Download Images".

2.) To export receipt images via the web https://web.easy-expense.com/export, enable "Include Receipts" before exporting.

3.) PDF reports created in the "Reports" tab will also contain receipt images along with the expenses when shared or downloaded.
