Turn flash off when editing after snapping an image of the receipt

Thank you for taking the time to develop such a fantastic app. I wanted to share a suggestion.

Currently, when taking a picture of a receipt, the auto-flash turns on, which is incredibly helpful. However, during the editing process, the flash remains on, causing additional battery drain on the device.

I believe that if the flash automatically turned off once the receipt was captured, it would help the user conserve battery life.

Thank you again for creating such a wonderful app!

    I started noticing myself a few weeks ago.

    Before this it worked great without the flash.

    Now it turns in when you hit the camera/scan button, and doesn't turn off until after exiting the capture and details screens.

    At a register, the urgent thing is to scan the receipt so I hv a digital copy. I then want to get away from the register as soon as possible and can fill in the rest later. Right now the flash stays on until I exit that screen...

    Perhaps the default should be no flash? Then a button on the screen to turn on the flash if the environment is too dark. Or maybe a choice for which one is to be default in settings?

      Oops. User error. I see the button and I must have pressed it once without knowing it and it remembers your last preference...great stuff!

      I do wish however that if I was using the flash that it would automatically turn off once I get prompted to put in details like bank acct, notes, etc.

      Hi there! After turning off the flash when scanning, it should stay off the next time you open the scanner. This will be the same when turning on the flash.
